In this third session of the ERALDATUZ project -Zazpi pauso hamaika aukera-, we worked on transformational leadership. The session was dynamic and participative and was attended by 13 people from 9 companies.
The meeting started in a reflexive way, where each participant had to choose a card from a pile. These cards consisted of a picture and a sentence. The participants started the session by explaining how they linked the chosen card to their leadership style. What made you choose that card? How does the image and/or the word relate to your leadership?
Next, Nieves and Pilar, our colleagues from InGroup, explained to us what we need from leadership. We learned that leadership has to ensure that everyone has their place in the company and that they know their order, for leadership, there has to be a balance between giving and receiving and the purpose has to be clear. This was followed by detailing the different types of leadership, such as the hero leader, transformational leaders and the collectivity of leadership, with a special focus on intercommunication leaders.
After reflecting on what we were listening to, we talked about decision-making in difficult situations and created a circle of trust in which each person expressed an experience in this area. We recognized resources such as calmness, self-confidence, help, constancy, technological knowledge, desire, attitude, enthusiasm, ambition, self-improvement, confidence, risk-taking, work capacity, empowering people, empathy... and, finally, we closed the session by working in learning communities on the realization of action plans that strengthen this leadership.
Once again, we learned from each other and left with new concepts to put into practice within our companies.
Further together!
