The training took place on 13 July in the Goieki Auditorium. The conference, which lasted four hours, was presented by four people from three companies.
This course was organised to provide a deeper understanding of the ISO 3834 STANDARD. Compliance with this standard, whether certified or not, is a guarantee of the welded product quality, as it ensures that manufacturers control the welding process, providing security and confidence to their customers that their welded products will meet the agreed requirements.
These were the points that were developed in this training:
- The content of the standard and the main points and requirements that every manufacturer who has a special welding process in his production must know and integrate in his production process.
- Training and information on the ISO 3834 family of standards and their different quality levels.
- Overview of the markets and sectors where compliance is required, and the relationship of this standard with sector-specific standards such as EN 15085 (railways) and EN 1090 (structures).
The feedback received from the participants was very positive.
