After de last regional strategic plan made during 2005, the objective of promoting new businesses initiatives of added value in Goierri region, we set up the New Business Factory.

In 2012 we began working on the project, which would be placed in the Innovation Pole of Goierri, and, thanks to the Madrid Government aid (MICINN), the building's construction works finally began.

OBJECTIVES

To promote added value business initiatives and, consequently, to create qualified and quality employment in Goierri region.

STEPS OF THE PROJECT

The New Business Factory building is going to offer a wide range of services, for promoting and developing added value projects:

1. Detecting projects through the collaboration of companies in the region.
2. Defining projects detected from the Competitive Intelligence.
3. Activating the selection process of new projects/businesses.
4. Looking for the best location of each project. Project Management.
5. Consolidation program for the companies located in the NBF building.

PARTICIPANTS

Goieki (Development Agency of Goierri), Goierri Fundazioa and the Asociation Goierri Valley.

SITUATION OF THE PROJECT

Construction works of the new building NBF are already in progress. It will have few options of the companies located in, with an space of 2.500m², and furthermore, companies of Goierri Valley will have the opportunity of being located in.

• 4 laboratories/workshops of 190m², located on the ground floor.
• 20 offices on the first floor, for new added value companies and businesses.
• On the second floor there will be Goieki's and Goierri Valley's offices, as well as some meeting rooms.
• On the third floor there will be a common area and, it will also have a dinning and cooking area.

OPEN DATE

The NBF building will be finished at the end of this year.
