The Covid-19 era is not being easy, but the members of Goierri Valley are sure that we are going to continue, because we are carrying out several projects that are strategic, promoting shared knowledge and information among the companies in the region.
We have done the same with the project Value ShARE, based on the project WIN&WIN that was carried out in 2018 and we have elaborated a second edition due to the success it had then. Based on the WIN&WIN project and incorporating new improvements. This project has five main objectives:
- Follow with one of the most recognized pioneer experiences in the field of competitive and collaborative business development in a region.
- Take advantage of the "moment" of trust and openness among its members to continue aligning interests at all levels.
- Multiply capacities and consolidate value chains that allow us to offer a comprehensive and competitive solution to market needs in a global and increasingly complex and competitive world.
- Add opportunities linked to the activities of the Industry 4.0 that add value to the overall strategy of the Region.
- Explore current and future synergies, which allow to identify projects that generate real and practical value in the shortest time possible, and in all dimensions.
This project is divided on five phases. Once the project was launched, we prepared the questionnaires to carry out a study about the value chain and distributed them in the companies, with the aim of consolidating the value chain of the metal-mechanic sector and identifying the existing gaps and creating synergies between the companies. These questionnaires have been collected, but before sharing the main conclusions, we will listen to the strategic views of several tractor companies in the region.
Yesterday we celebrated the first strategic view of the hand of AMPO, where they explained how they see the current situation and forecasts for the future. They also explained what strategy they will use to deal with them. To end the session, it presented his view to the SMEs. In the next two weeks, it will be the turn of CAF and Arcelor Mittal, which will follow the same procedure.
Once the strategic views are done, a new session of presentation of conclusions will be carried out to look for synergies and try to create new projects.
This project is being carried out by Goieki and has been financed by the Department of Economic Promotion, Tourism and Rural Affairs of the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa.
